Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep one account only.
• You are responsible for everything posted from your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.

What you may not post

• Anything illegal in Bangladesh, including weapons, drugs, wildlife, and counterfeit goods.
• Listings for something you do not have or do not intend to sell or rent.
• Someone else's photographs, or photographs that do not show the actual item or property.
• A price or rent that you know is misleading, or hidden charges you have not disclosed.
• Abusive, obscene, defamatory content, or content that attacks people on the basis of religion, ethnicity, gender or politics.
• Another person's phone number or personal details without their permission.
• The same listing posted repeatedly, or advertising unrelated to Rajshahi.

Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting it you give us permission to display, store and distribute it on this site so that it can be shown to visitors.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you upload, including any photographs.

We are not a party to your transactions

Rajshahi Online is a noticeboard. We publish listings; we do not inspect properties, verify goods, handle payments, or take part in any agreement you reach with another user.

Any deal you make is between you and the other person. We are not responsible for the condition, legality, safety or accuracy of anything listed, nor for whether either side does what they promised.

Staying safe

• Meet in a public place during daylight.
• Inspect the property or item before you pay anything.
• Never send advance money, a deposit or an advance rent to someone you have not met.
• Be cautious of prices far below the market rate; that is the most common sign of a fraudulent listing.
• Report suspicious listings using the report button so we can review them.

Moderation

Submissions may be reviewed before they appear. We may edit, refuse or remove any listing or article, and we may do so without notice where it breaks these terms or the law.

Availability of the site

We try to keep the site running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available. It may be taken offline for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from any dealing with another user, or from content posted by users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
