The embankment along the Padma is where Rajshahi goes in the evening. The walk runs for a long stretch beside the river, with tea stalls, benches and food carts along the way.
It is busiest in the late afternoon and around sunset, particularly in winter when the river is low and the sandbanks are exposed.
