The Darasbari Mosque was built in 1479 CE in what was then Gaur.
It stands about 500 metres west of the Choto Sona Mosque and roughly a kilometre south-west of the Kotwali Gate. The building is a ruin rather than a working mosque, and is protected as an archaeological monument.
